PUGET SOUND BIRD FEST

FRI-SUN – Three-day event includes speakers, guided walks, land and water-based field trips, exhibits, and educational activities for children and adults. Plan to spend the weekend in Edmonds, birding and meeting other birders, naturalists, photographers, and people engaged in fascinating bird research projects.

FEDERAL WAY BLUES FESTIVAL

SAT – Four blues bands handpicked from the Northwest, 20 craft beers, wine, and cider breweries.

NITRO CIRCUS

SAT – Featuring over 30 world-class athletes. An all-star international lineup, loaded with the best riders in freestyle motocross, BMX, scooter and inline performing the biggest tricks in action sports. 

HOPS AND CROPS MUSIC AND BEER FESTIVAL

SATLive music, craft beer and food trucks hosted by Mark Olson Farm.  

SUMMER BLOCKBUSTERS: PROTEGE SHOW

SAT – A tribute to all of our favorite action-packed films. Featuring high-flying trapeze, aerial arts, and other circus acts.

SEATTLE FIESTAS PATRIAS

SAT-SUN –  Explore and experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of the nations of Latin America through live performances, visual arts, hands-on activities, foods, games, and a lively marketplace.  

SNOHOMISH ZOMBIE WALK 

SAT – Dress up and join the hoard of zombies roaming downtown Snohomish. Bring “rations for the survivors” benefiting the Snohomish Food Bank.

EDMONDS ART STUDIO TOUR

SAT-SUN – Meet and talk with 31 professional artists on this self-guided tour through 18 private studios.   

MY FAIR LADY

Through October 1 – Telling the story of a young woman in Edwardian London and her chance encounter with a linguistics professor. Transcends not only social class, but also time, to offer real lessons about the interactions between men and women.

WASHINGTON CIDER WEEK
Through SUN – Enjoy beverages from the simple to the significant; from dinner pairing menus to tap take overs, and much more.
 
WASHINGTON STATE FAIR
Through Sept 24 – Enjoy delicious food, wild rides, dazzling entertainment and fun for the whole family. 
 

ICE CREAM CABARET
Through October 1 – Inspired by all-time-favorite summer cult-classics like “Grease,” “Cry Baby,” “Hairspray,” and “Beach Party,” ICE CREAM celebrates revelry with the finest in Market fresh food, craft cocktails, and Can Can’s own unique brand of entertainment.

CONCERTS AT THE LOCKS
Through SAT – Enjoy summer concerts on the lawn at the Hiram M Chittenden Locks.

FREE WEEKEND WALKS
Through November – Tours are tailored for an adult audience, and the topic changes monthly. See the calendar below for details. Tour groups gather in front of the Graham Visitors Center.

MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT – Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
ALL MONTH – Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT
All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

SEATTLE FARMERS MARKETS
Visit neighborhood farmers markets selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. Check out what’s going on at the Ballard, Madrona & Wallingford’s Farmer’s Markets.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
