KITSAP PENINSULA WATER TRAILS FESTIVAL

SAT-SUNTwo-day summer festival of food, music, games, sports & activities celebrating the majestic and diverse natural resources of the Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails. Multi-city events include: 50k triathlon, kayak race, waterfront bike ride, trail run, and family paddle.

MIDSOMER FESTIVAL

SAT-SUN – Portraying rural England in the year 1376, this festival is dedicated to offering the public powerful personal experiences of history, including multiple learning and performing arts opportunities. New summer games, crowning of the King & Queen, puppetry, magic, crafts, archery and much more.

SKANDIA MIDSOMMARFEST

SUN – A traditional Swedish celebration of the summer solstice, recreated in as authentic a manner as possible, complete with the  raising of a garlanded Midsommar pole, a serpentine dance around the pole, and hundreds of costumed musicians and dancers—traditions practiced in Sweden for centuries.

GREENWOOD CAR SHOW

SHORELINE ARTS FESTIVAL

PRIDEFEST CAPITOL HILL

ROMY & MICHELE’S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION

Through July 2 – Based on the 1997 cult hit film with an all new 80’s & 90’s pop/rock inspired score.

ICE CREAM CABARET

Through SAT – The infamous, historic venue will transform into a doo-wop ice cream shop. Inspired by all-time-favorite summer cult-classics like “Grease,” “Cry Baby,” “Hairspray,” and “Beach Party,” ICE CREAM celebrates revelry with the finest in Market fresh food, craft cocktails, and Can Can’s own unique brand of entertainment.

THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE

Through July 2 – A music-filled comedy about finding your true voice in an unexpected place. A heartwarming tale explores what happens when one man trades in his blue suede shoes for platform pumps and discovers he ain’t nothing but a drag queen.

Through September 16 – Enjoy summer concerts on the lawn at the Hiram M Chittenden Locks.

SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL

Through SUN – An explosion of dance and the arts both indoors and outdoors at various locations throughout Seattle.

DREAMGIRLS

Through July 2 – Celebrates the advent of R&B in the 1960s with a Motown-inspired score, dynamic performances, and a moving look behind-the-scenes of the entertainment business. Experience all the onstage joy and backstage drama as an up-and-coming girl group learns hard lessons about love, trust, and what it takes to get to the top.

LOST FALLS

Through SUNMurder mystery dinner at its best. Diners watch interrogations unfold and reality bend in a show that is only slightly less surreal than the menu that accompanies it.

All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday
– Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

– At the Pacific Science Center. Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

FREMONT FAIR & SOLSTICE PARADE

SAT-SUN – Join more than 60 dazzling community-based ensembles parading down the streets of Fremont with giant puppets, stilt walkers, floats, dancers, cyclists and musicians in this kaleidoscope of joyous human expression. Then, we end the parade with the Fremont Solstice Celebration at Gas Works Park, where we celebrate with local and national street bands, food trucks, beer garden, and more art!

ROCK N’ ROLL 5K, MARATHON, HALF MARATHON & HEALTH EXPO

FRI-SUN – Free and open to the public, this expo features the latest in running technologies, fitness apparel, health & nutritional information and interactive displays. 5K will be held Saturday at the Musuem of Flight; marathons will be Sunday at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.

WILD STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL & CAR SHOW

MARYSVILLE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL

CLASSIC WEEKEND WITH BOAT PARADE

FESTIVAL OF SAIL

DUVALL DAYS FESTIVAL

SAT-SUN – A fun-filled family festival celebrating the small town community spirit. This two day event kicks off with a big parade and continues all day long with fun activities for folks of all ages. FRI-SUN – During regular festival hours, you are invited to view the art and daily entertainment, from poetry readings to pantomime to acrobatic displays. In the evenings, the vibe changes from a gallery to sexy art party. The Late Night Festival is a sexy, fun time with DJs, performers, bartenders at the ready, and a fantastically energetic crowd.

THE SECRET GARDEN

Through April 27 – Experience themes of romance, love and flirtation with the class and beauty Can Can shows are famous for. New Orleans-inspired menu additions, our highly gifted and talented cast, and the superbly romantic French Kiss is the best way to celebrate this season of love and romance.

EARTH DAY EVENTS
SATEarth Day Run 5K & 10K. Each finisher will receive a native sapling tree and an additional tree will be planted in his or her name. 
SATBee Sweet to the Earth. All about bees, pollination and the connection to our food system and local agriculture. With food, games, demonstrations, music and kid activities, the event is free, and all ages are welcome. 
SATRecycle & Shred Event. In honor of Earth Day we are hosting a FREE Recycling & Shredding Event with refreshments and family friendly activities. 
SATClean Up & Maintenance. Join SCA for Earth Day to give back to Seattle’s public lands and help restore the Washington Park Arboretum.
SATCommunity Restoration. We are keeping Seward Park’s forest healthy! We’ve removed invasive plant species and are now covering the work area with burlap and mulch in preparation for fall planting.
SATTours of the Bullitt Center. A showcase for 21st century super buildings and a model for true sustainability.

FREE NATIONAL PARKS DAY

SAT-SUN – Entry is free at Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks on Free Entrance Days in the National Parks. Expect more people and less parking than usual.

DOGS AT THE HELM

SAT – For the first time ever, dog owners will have the chance to get a picture with their dog at the wheel of the 104-year-old National Historic Landmark schooner. Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop staff will also be on deck with FREE ice cream and, along with Adventuress’ crew of educators, they will share information about how our daily actions can make a difference for the marine environment.
