SEATTLE HOME SHOW

SAT Through February 26 – The 73rd Annual housing extravaganza will have hundreds of displays of home and garden products, daily “Meet the Experts” seminars, the newest in building products and green living, landscape displays, wine tasting, and home decorating.

FRANK OLIVIER’S TWISTED CABARET

Through Feb 26 – A one-man show with a cast of a dozen characters, each more talented and demented than the last.

SPIRIT OF THE WEST COWBOY GATHERING

FRI-SUN – This Ellensburg festival offers a wide range of events that reflect a bygone era—a Western Gear and Art Show, dancing and concerts, dutch oven cooking, fiddle contest, cowboy church, workshops and demonstrations, and ranch roping along with free kids activities. A great family-friendly community event.

EVERETT FILM FESTIVAL

FRI – Offering engaging and thought-provoking films from around the country and across the globe with a unique look into the lives of women through documentaries, feature films, animations and film shorts.

ONE LOVE

FRIOne Love provides a fun and fabulous way for couples to organize their big day and plan their life together. MATINEE CABARET

All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

THURS-SAT – An array of Northwest improvisers will meet over the course of the weekend in multiple duo, trio, and quartet configurations. Other new features include a workshop for improvising dancers and musicians on Saturday afternoon, with a potluck/community discussion afterwards.

CHINESE NEW YEAR

SAT – Welcome in the 2017 Lunar New Year, sharing in the cultural heritage of our community. The celebration will feature numerous traditional and contemporary cultural demonstrations including martial arts, music, dance, and visual arts. Through December 31 – Features over half a million lights that transform the Bellevue Botanical Garden into a blossoming winter wonderland. Each holiday season, thousands of visitors enjoy this dazzling display.

CHRISTMAS SHIP FESTIVAL

Through December 23 – Christmas Ships sail to different Puget Sound waterfront communities, around 65 in total. Choirs on board give 20-minute performances to these communities, all broadcast via speaker system. On shore, thousands of people gather around roaring bonfires, anticipating the arrival of the Christmas Ship™.

WINTERFEST

Through December 31 – Five weeks of free and affordable, fun-filled activities and live performances. Enjoy the uplifting seasonal spirit and get a delightful diversion from the hustle and bustle of the holiday routine.

SNOWFLAKE LANE

Through December 24 – A magical evening performance for the entire family. It’s a holiday spectacle of live toy soldier drummers, exhilarating music, animated snow characters, glittering lights all surrounded by snow falling every night along Bellevue Way.

GINGERBREAD VILLAGE

Through January 1 – Don’t miss the 24th Annual Gingerbread Village with creations inspired by scenes from your favorite wizarding world. Fans of all ages will marvel at the larger-than-life gingerbread exhibit. Each team’s presentation will transfix you with their spellbinding culinary and design wizardry.

Through December 24 – Holiday decor, ornaments & gifts galore, plus Curley, Santa’s reindeer, a Grinch-themed model train, Santa photos, and much more!

MONA LISA HEIST

All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

AN IMPROVISED CHRISTMAS CAROL

Through December 24 – Based on audience suggestions, our improvisers bend and twist Charles Dickens’ tale of Ebenezer Scrooge in all sorts of hilarious directions — and each show is different. It’s all up to you in this wild, hilarious, holiday ride.

MR SCROOGE

Through SUN – Here’s a lilting Christmas show based on Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol. The added dimensions of music make this a particularly enjoyable new way of presenting the grand story of hardhearted Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates Christmas and is visited successively by three ghosts.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT

Through SUN – Infusing comedy into the classic Death Takes a Holiday, The Christmas Spirit is set in contemporary Long Island. Moments of high farce, drama and even romance arise as bright holiday fantasies collide with a not-so-merry reality.

MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET 

Through December 24Tacoma Little Theatre’s production of this timeless classic story.

WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (PRESENTED IN SMELL-O-VISION)

Through January 29Seattle’s classic Winter show is back at Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret in the Historic Pike Place Market. This carnival of merriment will mesmerize audiences as soon as they enter Can Can’s intimate theater turned whimsical winter chalet, making this a holiday entertainment spectacular to remember.
