BITE OF SEATTLE
FRI-SUN – Seattle’s Original Food & Beverage Showcase featuring 60+ restaurants & pop-up vendors, Craft Beer & Cider Tasting, 4 live music stages including a Family Fun stage, free Bite Movie Night on Friday, July 21st, outdoor beer gardens, live cooking demonstrations and much more.

CAPITOL HILL BLOCK PARTY
FRI-SUN – Three days, 5 stages, 90 bands, DJ’s in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

WEST SEATTLE GRAND PARADE
SAT – One of the oldest and most beloved community events in the Seattle area. The parade includes participants from the Hi-Yu royalty, pirates, clowns, marching bands, drill teams, floats, pageantry and excitement that leads up to the Seafair Torchlight Parade the following weekend.

CELEBRATING LIFE DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
SAT – Cheer on approximately 1,000 local and visiting athletes, enjoy food, music and entertainment, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities for the young and the young at heart at this fun-filled festival at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.

SUMMER BEER TASTE
SAT-SUN – Wear your best tie-dye or flower power dress and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love … with Beer! Includes ten tastes from over 30 local microbreweries and cideries. Meet the people behind your favorite brews, chat with neighbors and fellow enthusiasts, and enjoy an afternoon of delicious beverages.

SAINT JAMES FAIRE
SAT-SUN – Medieval festival with knightly combat, puppetry, music, crafts, archery, minstrels and more.

CHINATOWN SEAFAIR PARADE
SUN
– Featuring lion and dragon dances, the Seattle Chinese Girl’s Drill Team, and many more local community groups from the Greater Seattle area.

 VASHON ISLAND STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN – The Vashon Island Strawberry Festival includes a parade, dance, live music, a car parade, carnival rides, a beer garden, and 200 vendors. Free. A shuttle service from the ferry boat is $1.

OUT TO LUNCH SUMMER CONCERT SERIES 
Through September 1 – Live music every weekday at a different location.

WOODEN O: SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARKS
Through August 6 – Free, outdoor productions of classical plays performed in parks throughout the Puget Sound region. Grab a picnic, bring your family and join us for some free Shakespeare in the parks!

NIGHT AT THE NEPTUNE
Through August 10 – A series of free summer performances at The Neptune in Seattle that focuses on showcasing local artists’ work as it relates to race and social justice.

CONCERTS AT THE LOCKS
Through September 16 – Enjoy summer concerts on the lawn at the Hiram M Chittenden Locks.

FREE WEEKEND WALKS
Through November – Tours are tailored for an adult audience, and the topic changes monthly. See the calendar below for details. Tour groups gather in front of the Graham Visitors Center.

MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT – Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
ALL MONTH – Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT
All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
