EARTH DAY EVENTS:

SPRING FAIR

THURS-SUN – Spring Fair offers tons of free attractions that the whole family will enjoy.  Monster trucks, rides, garden displays, racing pigs, dogs performing amazing water tricks and so much more.  

CHERRY BLOSSOM & JAPANESE CULTURAL FESTIVAL

FRI-SUN – Explore and experience the cultural roots and contemporary influences of Japan through live performances, visual arts, hands-on activities, foods and games including Taiko drumming and artisan demonstrations.

PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER AFTER HOURS 

FRI – Explore the Science Center with a drink in your hand and no kids in sight. Stop by the Laser Dome for an open house laser show and witness brilliant laser colors blazing overhead, soar with butterflies in the Tropical Butterfly House, take on engineering challenges in Tinker Tank, and explore all things green with our educators from Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center.

JAMESON JITNEY 

SAT – Happening once a month in different neighborhoods throughout Seattle. Each bar will feature a special drink as well as interactive games and entertainment.

COCHON 555  

SUN – A nose-to-tail culinary event dedicated to supporting family farmers and educating buyers about the agricultural importance of eating heritage breed pigs, some of which are on critical watch lists.

FREE NATIONAL PARKS DAY

SAT – A great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite, especially one of the national parks that normally charge an entrance fee. 

FREE STATE PARKS DAY

SAT  – Spend a nice spring day enjoying Washington’s State parks for free.  

BODY MIND SPIRIT CONNECTION

SAT – Meet the region’s top experts in holistic health and well-being. Choose from a variety classes, talks, demos, and mini-workshops on topics ranging from organic farming and mindfulness to Nia fitness, sound baths, and holistic brain health.

TACOMA GUITAR FESTIVAL

SAT-SUN – Featuring over 150 exhibit style booths, guitar workshops led by industry experts, live performance music played by well-known guitarists, guitar personalities meet n’ greets, and a festive atmosphere.

KIRKLAND SPRING WINE WALK

FRI – This 21+ event will bring you on a wine adventure of local wineries at downtown Kirkland businesses. Start at the Heathman Hotel and enjoy social wine tasting through numerous downtown stores to enjoy local wineries and breweries.

THE PRODUCERS

Through April 29 – A Mel Brooks’s musical that is a laugh-out-loud, outrageous, crowd-pleasing farce that has been a smash hit since its 2001 debut.

KISS ME, KATE

Through April 29 – A fantastic evening of amazing entertainment, celebrated music, fabulous dance, great performances, and a little something more to tell us about how far we have come and how far we still have to go.

STRING

Through SUN – A brand-new story with a mythological twist, this world premiere musical is a fun and fresh fable about fate, love, and the wonders of chocolate.  

LOVE, CHAOS, & DINNER

Through April 29 – From the moment you step through the doors into our 100-year-old spiegeltent you will be transported into another world where performers break free from the confines of the stage and the action unfolds all around you.

MAGNIFICENT MATINEE

Through April 29 – Combining history with high-kicks, culinary delicacies with world-class cabaret, providing a tour of the historic Pike Place Market from the comfort of our intimate, sixty-seat venue.

RECURRING EVENTS:

MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT – Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
ALL MONTH – Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT
All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

SEATTLE FARMERS MARKETS
Visit neighborhood farmers markets selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. Check out what’s going on at the Ballard, Madrona & Wallingford’s Farmer’s Markets.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
