MARDI GRAS CRUISE
SAT – Don your intricate mask and grab your beads for the Mardi Gras Party Cruise aboard a yacht with New Orleans style appetizers and desserts.
SAT – Enjoy math with games, puzzles, activities and creativity at UW. This festival encourages 4th-12th graders to approach math in a fun way.
SAT – Head to a Mini Con for board games, meet comic book heroes with comics, movie princesses, and more at the Convention Center.
SAT – Taste from over 70 wines paired with food truck faire for the 10th Anniversary celebration.
SUN – Watch live barber battles, watch seminars and classes, and shop vendors at the Style Hair Show & Competition.
THROUGH MAR 6 – “..And the winner is” film series features Cinerama with each Best Picture nominees.
WIZARDS & WITCHES BEER FEST
FRI – Block 41 in Downtown Seattle will be transformed into a wizarding world of magic and mischief. Enjoy tastings of over twenty beers and explore the lair of secret cider potions and butterscotch beer.
SAT – Celebrate the 2019 Lunar New Year in Chinatown to see traditional lion and dragon dances, martial arts, Taiko drumming and more! The neighborhood is participating in a $3 food walk, with delicious local and affordable bites.
NEXT GENERATION DANCE
SAT-SUN – The country’s best young dance talent performs Ailey 2, a creative vision of passion, spirit and energy.
THROUGH MAR 8 – This festival is hosted by Ritual, a new meal ordering app. In celebration of the launch, several participating restaurants have come together to offer meals usually over $10 for just $1.
THROUGH MAR 9 – Head to Hale’s Ales Theater to watch famous mentalist Eran Raven for subliminal suggestions and cognitive thinking to read minds and influence thoughts.
THE WOMAN IN BLACK
THROUGH MAR 24 – The Seattle Repertory Theatre hosts an eerie ghost story about a mysterious woman terrorizing an English Village.
THE VIKINGS BEGIN
THROUGH APRIL 15 – Every Tuesday through Sunday, view historical findings dating back to the mid-seventh to the late 11th century as well as unearthed artifacts at the Nordic Museum.
APA SCIENCE FICTION
THROUGH SEPT 15 – The expanding universe of Asian Pacific Americans and their influence on Sci-Fi takes a deep dive into actors, artists, writers, animators and more. Get your tickets and head to the Wing Luke Museum.
