WEST SEATTLE FESTIVAL

SAT-SUN  The 36th annual Summer Fest features family fun, live music with over 20 live bands, shopping, dining, a kids area and more!

REDMOND DERBY DAYS

 FRI-SUN Family friendly carnival, children’s parade, a grand parade, beer and wine garden, and fireworks display.

VIKING DAYS

SAT-SUN  Eat like a Nordic king with a daily Swedish pancake breakfast, salmon bake on Saturday afternoon, crafts, food and drink vendors, a Viking encampment and music for a family-friendly educational celebration.

WEST SEATTLE ART WALK

THURS  Stroll through multiple venues hosting unique local art and music. Enjoy extended happy hours for art walk participating restaurants.

GOAT GAMES -GOATALYMPICS

SAT Goats compete in foot races, obstacle courses and more at New Moon Farm’s 8th annual Goatalympics.

FOREST MUSIC FESTIVAL

THURS-SAT –Timber Outdoor Music Festival featuring 30 musical artists, family activities and camping. Join 5K run on Sunday.

ROOFTOP MOVIES – AFTER HOURS

 FRI – Dine in the Motif Hotel’s signature restaurant while watching a classic movie with drinks inspired by the films. Friday Night showing Office Space, paired with Lumbergh’s Lemonade.

WEDGWOOD ART FESTIVAL

SAT  Join Northwest artists, food vendors and live music for a family fun day at Our Lady of the Lake Church.

FARM WEEKEND IN WOODENVILLE

FRI-SUN  Visit farms and businesses for tours, bites, and family activities during the Sammamish Valley Celebration of Farms and the Arts. Freshly pressed apple cider, painting on the farm and more.

KENT CORNUCOPIA DAYS

SAT  Join this family friendly carnival and street fair with dragon boat races, a soccer tournament, 5K on Saturday and Sunday’s parade.

KIRKLAND WINE FESTIVAL

FRI-SUN Kirkland Uncorked features food, wine, art and a boat show.

REPTILE SHOW

SAT – See all things cold-blooded and exotic at this year’s reptile expo.

THEATER SCHMEATER PRESENTS ‘’PINOCCHIO”

SAT-SUN – Watch the energetic adaptation of the classic tale of Pinocchio. At Volunteer Park, all shows are free!

CABARET BRUNCH 

SAT – Don’t miss the last day of this Magnificent Matinee! An hour of dance, comedy, acrobatics, music, theater, and history at small Can-Can theater in Pike Place Market for all ages. Brunch food is optional and not included.

THOMAS THE TRAIN RIDE

FRI-SUN – A day out with Thomas the Tank Engine includes a 25-minute train ride with arts and crafts at the Northwest Railway Museum.

ZOO CONCERTS

THROUGH AUG 23 – Enjoy outdoor live music. Performances in the beautiful North Meadow of the Woodland Park Zoo.

MARYMOOR PARK CONCERTS 

THROUGH SEPT 9 – Enjoy big name acts in an open venue. Buy a seat or bring a blanket or chair.

CONCERT AT THE LOCKS  

THROUGH SEPT 16 – Bring your picnic, sit in the lawn at Hiram Chittenden Locks and enjoy a concert. 

RECURRING EVENTS:

CANOE TOUR

ALL MONTH – Check for availability. Adventure out on this 3-hour guided canoe trip through the Mercer Slough. This 320-acre wetland is one you don’t want to miss!

ZOO AFTER DARK

ALL MONTH – Enjoy extended hours at the Woodland Park Zoo. July 5, 19, 26 and Aug 1, the Zoo will be open until 8:30PM.

SUMMER AT SAM

ALL MONTH – Play, picnic and create on the waterfront at the Seattle Art Museum. Family activities and entertainment free and open to all ages.

MONA LISA HEIST
ALL MONTH
– 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

FLEA MARKET IN FREMONT

SUN – European-style street market year ‘round on Sundays. Up to 150 exhibitors.

ALL MONTH – Visit neighborhood farmers markets selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. Check out what’s going on at the Ballard, Madrona & Wallingford’s Farmer’s Markets.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
