COVINGTON DAYS
SAT-SUN Since 1986, kickoff Saturday with a morning parade, arts and crafts for kids, compete in a watermelon contest, games and more at this official SeaFair event!

BITE OF SEATTLE
FRI-SUN – Famous food showcase featuring 60 restaurants! Watch cooking demos, enjoy craft beer, cider and wine tasting as well as live entertainment. Free bite movie night Friday, featuring A League of Their Own.

WEST SEATTLE GRAND PARADE
SAT – The 88th annual celebration of the Torchlight parade brings marching bands, community floats and drill teams together. Members from the Hi-Yu royalty, Seafair pirates and Seafair clowns will also be in attendance.

JAMFEST
THUR Held at the beautiful Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience, see Cabaret performances, art displays and food vendors.

MUSIC UNDER THE STARS
FRI  Picnic the night away with free live classical music the whole family will enjoy! This event kicks off with a student ensemble.

IMAGINE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
FRI – Create and play during this special evening featuring free admission at the Imagine Children’s Museum.

WASHINGTON LAVENDER FESTIVAL
THUR-SUN – Sequim Valley’s magnificent oceanfront lavender farm at George Washington Inn & Estate. This colonial setting holds children’s activities, crafts, music, food and demonstrations.

CAPITOL HILL ROCK CONCERT
FRI-SUN – Known as the “Best Weekend of the Summer.” 3 days of over 90 bands with multiple stages and an average of 20,000 attendees! Stop by for a day of music while enjoying food and drinks or checkout the three-day pass.

VASHON ISLAND STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
FRI-SUN  Watch the parade, live music and carnival rides. Don’t miss the car show, a pancake breakfast and lots of activities for kids.

KING COUNTY FAIR
THUR-SUN – Bring the whole family for classic fair food, rides and a petting zoo! Live music every night as well as open class 4-H shows and more!

THOMAS THE TRAIN RIDE
SAT – A day out with Thomas continues with videos, stories, crafts and a train ride! Located at the Northwest Railway Museum.

AN IMMIGRANT’S TALE
THROUGH MID AUGUST – Watch Sweet Land, The Musical– story line falls after WW1, a young German woman moves to Minnesota to marry a Norwegian man she’s never met. Suspicion and prejudice build, but when hardship befalls the community, the two will sacrifice everything to save their friends.

CUSTOM CAR CONVENTION
SUN – Wekfest Seattle 2018: Car enthusiasts will love all the aftermarket builds and aftermarket vendors at CentryLink field.

THE DOG WALK
SUN – Join a walk and pageant to support and celebrate old dogs that need foster care. Costumes are welcome and encouraged!

THE GREAT OBSTACLE RACE
SAT – Jump over, under and through inflatable obstacles at Lake Sammamish State Park.

JAPANESE FESTIVAL
SAT – FREE admission to outdoor Summer Festival with games, food vendors and live entertainment.

DISENCHANTED: THE MUSICAL
THROUGH AUG 18 – See Snow White and her group of Disenchanted princesses in a hilarious musical that brings their stories back to life to set the record straight.

MOVIE AT MAJESTIC BAY
SUN – Watch the beloved family movie Moana with family and friends, lounge in your PJ’s while you enjoy pastries and bagels.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC PHOTO ARK EXHIBIT
THROUGH SEPT 30 – Woodland Park Zoo hosts the traveling National Geographic exhibition, committed to documenting every species in zoos, aquariums and animal rescues with the intention of inspiring viewers to protect these animals and future generations.

ZOO AFTER DARK
ALL MONTH – After checking out the Nat Geo exhibit, stay longer and enjoy extended hours at the Woodland Park Zoo. July 19, 26 and Aug. 1, the Zoo will be open until 8:30PM.

CANOE TOUR
ALL MONTH – Check for availability. Adventure out on this 3-hour guided canoe trip through the Mercer Slough. This 320-acre wetland is one you don’t want to miss!

MONA LISA HEIST
ALL MONTH
– 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

FLEA MARKET IN FREMONT
SUN – European-style street market year ‘round on Sundays. Up to 150 exhibitors.

SEATTLE FARMERS MARKETS
ALL MONTH – Visit neighborhood farmers markets selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. Check out what’s going on at the Ballard, Madrona & Wallingford’s Farmer’s Markets.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
