CORKS AND CANVAS: BY THE SEA

SAT  Join Bainbridge Vineyards and paint while enjoying award-winning wines and menus.

FESTIVAL OF SHORTS

FRI  SUN – After over 200 short play submissions, view the top eight and vote on your favorite.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS USA GAMES

 FRI – Don’t miss the last day of the Special Olympics, with more than 4,000 athletes and coaches representing 50 states and the District of Columbia. There will be 14 team and individual sporting events.

TECHBOUND FASHION SHOW

SAT  Pairing fashion and today’s technology on the runway, featuring cosplay, wearable tech and pop up boutiques. Don’t miss the chance to see out-of-this-world fashions.

MUSIC IN THE GREENHOUSE

SAT – Enjoy a stroll in the garden with exotic plants, music in the greenhouse, a live DJ, dancing and beverages. Hosted by Volunteer Park Conservatory.

SEAFAIR PIRATES LANDING

SAT  Pirates will storm Alki Beach in West Seattle to kick off the 69th annual Seafair!

BASKIN ROBBINS GRAND OPENING (BELLEVUE)

 SUN Grand opening event with music, entertainment, prizes and ice cream scoops for only $1.31.

CIDER SWIG

SAT  Cider Festival with the Gig Harbor Foundation, dozens of ciders, arts, live music, family fun and demonstrations.

JAZZ IN WOODINVILLE

SAT – Live Jazz music at DiStefano Woodinville Winery.

TACOMA ART FESTIVAL

SUNMusic and art combine with local food at Art on the Ave for Tacoma’s largest arts-based yearly event.

CABARET BRUNCH 

THROUGH JULY 14 – This Magnificent Matinee is an hour of dance, comedy, acrobatics, music, theater, and history at small Can-Can theater in Pike Place Market for all ages. Brunch food is optional and not included.

ZOO CONCERTS

THROUGH AUG 23 – Enjoy outdoor live music. Performances in the beautiful North Meadow of the Woodland Park Zoo.

MARYMOOR PARK CONCERTS 

THROUGH SEPT 9 – Enjoy big name acts in an open venue. Buy a seat or bring a blanket or chair.

CONCERT AT THE LOCKS  

THROUGH SEPT 16 – Bring your picnic, sit in the lawn at Hiram Chittenden Locks and enjoy a concert.

RECURRING EVENTS:

CANOE TOUR

ALL MONTH – Check for availability. Adventure out on this 3-hour guided canoe trip through the Mercer Slough. This 320-acre wetland is one you don’t want to miss!

ZOO AFTER DARK

ALL MONTH – Enjoy extended hours at the Woodland Park Zoo. July 5, 19, 26 and Aug. 1, the Zoo will be open until 8:30PM.

MONA LISA HEIST
ALL MONTH – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

FLEA MARKET IN FREMONT

SUN – European-style street market year ‘round on Sundays. Up to 150 exhibitors.

SEATTLE FARMERS MARKETS
ALL MONTH – Visit neighborhood farmers markets selling produce exclusively from Washington state farmers. Check out what’s going on at the Ballard, Madrona & Wallingford’s Farmer’s Markets.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
ALL MONTH – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center: Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, parents and children dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.
