WHIRLIGIG! CARNIVAL
FRI through APRIL 17  Seattle Center. Colorful hub of lively child-sized entertainment, balloon artists, face painters and caricaturists. Also an assortment of student showcases and delicious foods from new Armory eateries.

 

BLUE MAN SHOW
FRI-SUN  The Paramount Theatre. Blue Man Group is comedy, theater, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. It’s an outrageous evening of entertainment you’ll never forget.

 

UFO FESTIVAL
FRI  Burien. The 3nd annual Burien UFO Festival (aka ‘BUFO’) will crash land in Olde Burien on Tuesday, April 1–April Fool’s Day–beginning at 6 p.m. in and around The Tin Room Bar at 923 SW 152nd.

 

SELENIA STONE BURLESQUE
FRI  Second Story Hideaway. A new mix of the Puget Sound’s best performers brings you classic burlesque, belly dancing and pole dancing. 18+

 

THE MIDTOWN MEN
FRI-SUN  Benaroya Hall. This sensational production reunites Four Stars from the original cast of Broadway’s Jersey Boys and brings you a one-of-a-kind concert experience celebrating the music that defined the ’60s.

 

SPLIT SECOND IMPROV
SAT  Second Story Hideaway. All scenes are based on audience suggestions so you will never see the same show twice, enjoy a fun night for the whole family.

 

BRIDGE GRAND OPENING
SAT  Husky Stadium. Run or walk across the world’s longest floating bridge before it opens to traffic, opening ceremony & ribbon cutting.

 

HISTORIC TOUR
SAT  Paramount Theater. Restored in 1995 at the cost of $20 million dollars, The Paramount Theatre has been brought back to its original splendor, just as Seattle audiences would have experienced it as they passed through the doors for the first time on March 1st, 1928.

 

TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE MOVIES
SAT-SUN  SIFF Cinema Uptown. Bring your well-behaved dog to the theater and take part in this one of a kind movie premiere of Rescue Dogs The Movie. 4 Adoption events!

 

AFRICAN MUSICAL
FRI Through APR 24  Village Theatre in Issaquah. A spirited young woman defies her parents and risks everything to set off for the big city to attend university.

 

A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN
Through APR 17  5th Avenue Theatre. A musical journey celebrating the rock sensation and her biggest musical influences—trailblazers like Aretha Franklin & Etta James who inspired Joplin to become one of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s greatest legends.

 

MOISTURE FESTIVAL 2016
Through APR 13  Highly skilled performance mixed with many bizarre talents, often humorous, with no limit to the imagination. Presented as a variety show, each act or artist performs his or her routine within a 3-15 minute time slot while being accompanied by a live show band.

 

MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION PLAY
Through APR 10  Center Theatre @ Seattle Center; A delightfully heartbreaking comedy about a shocking topic that is both timeless and timely.

 

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING 
EVERY THURS, FRI, SAT  Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

 

RESTAURANT DISCOUNTS

ALL MONTH  Bellevue Art Museum. The exhibition Louis Kahn: The Power of Architecture, organized by Vitra Design Museum, is the first major retrospective of Kahn’s work in two decades.
