FRI – Hike off Thanksgiving with free entrance to any of the 140 Washington State Parks.
MACY’S HOLIDAY PARADE
FRI – Head to the magic of Macy’s Holiday Parade to watch Santa Claus and listen to marching bands light up in song.
FRI-SAT – Westlake Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration features a countdown to the grand lighting of the indoor Christmas tree at Westlake Center. Head to the starlighting and fireworks show on Friday to experience the magic of the holidays.
NATIVE HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR
FRI-SUN – Shop for the best gifts of the season in West Seattle. You’ll find fine art, crafts, cards, jewelry and smoked meats.

THROUGH DEC 5 – Listen to little orphan Annie sing catchy tunes as the favored story unravels at 5th Avenue Theatre.
THROUGH JAN 6 – Head to the Seattle Zoo for WildLights, over 600,000 lights in animal shapes, reindeer, carolers and Santa. The Tacoma Zoo hosts Zoolights with half a million lights and displays.

SAT – Listen to a choir, musicians, Santa and Christmas tree lighting at Pike Place.

THROUGH DEC 30 – Colorful lights and displays at the Garden d’Lights in Bellevue Botanical Garden.
SAT-SUN – Burn off Thanksgiving along with 15,000 others at the Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon. Saturday features a kids marathon and Sunday hosts the full and half marathon.
THROUGH DEC 16 – Hop on the Northwest Railway Museum, for a 20-minute Santa Train from North Bend to Snoqualmie for a visit and cookies! Check online for closures and updated ticket info.
THROUGH DEC 28 – The Pacific Northwest Ballet performs George Balanchine’s play with a live orchestra.
