BHHS Northwest Real Estate Gives Back To The Community

Bottom Picture from Left: Julie Siegler, Kathy Gendron, Jeff Kuhns, Susie Horan and Charlotte Carper

Every holiday season, the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest Real Estate Federal Way branch pulls together and creates complete Christmas dinner baskets for the needy families served by Friends United to Shelter the Indigent, Oppressed and Needy, “FUSION”.

FUSION is a non-profit organization designed to provide support services to the homeless in our community so they will have a safe and loving environment as they work toward self-sufficiency.

This is the 16th year the Federal Way office has participated with this event.  This year, they created 16 beautiful baskets full of holiday dinner fixings and raised enough money to include a $35 Safeway Gift Card for each of the families to purchase perishables including the Holiday Ham.  In addition, local businesses donated 16 giant poinsettias and containers of household items to be included with each basket.

“Creating these baskets for the deserving families of FUSION is one of the greatest holiday traditions of our office,” said Julie Siegler, Real Estate Broker.

Thanks to everyone who participated and donated.  To learn more about FUSION, please visit: http://www.fusionfederalway.org/
