MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION

MON – The Museum of Flight recognizes Memorial Day with a musical performance by the Boeing Employee Concert band, followed by a special ceremony commemorating fallen U.S. Service Members.

TANKFEST NORTHWEST

SAT – Hear the rumble and boom of vintage tanks and artillery at the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum. This action-packed day is fun for the entire family and includes military vehicle demonstrations, remote control tanks, a water balloon toss, scavenger hunt, face painting, bouncy house, tug-o-war, educational speaker, amazing food from some of the region’s top food trucks, and much more.

NORTHWEST FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL

FRI-MON – The place to learn, dance, play, try something new, and discover arts and cultures that inspire celebration of one another and our big neighborhood.

GIG HARBOR STREET SCRAMBLE

SAT – An urban adventure that’s fun for runners, walkers, and families! Dozens of checkpoints are marked on a special map, and your goal is to find as many as you can within the time limit. Whether you sprint or stroll is up to you! You can participate solo or in teams of 2-5.

ADDICTED TO LOVE

Through SUN – A musical survey of everyone’s favorite subject! Featuring songs by: The Beach Boys, Natasha Bedingfield, Earth, Wind And Fire, Whitney Houston, Jason Mraz, Pointer Sisters, Robert Palmer, Queen, Rilo Kiley and James Taylor.

HERE LIES LOVE

Through June 18Seattle Rep’s Bagley Wright Theatre transforms into a wild dance party, where techno beats spin and tell the story of the People Power Revolution that inspired the world and changed the Philippines forever.

LOST FALLS

Through June 25Murder mystery dinner at its best. Diners watch interrogations unfold and reality bend in a show that is only slightly less surreal than the menu that accompanies it.

GRAND CONCOURSE

Through June 11 – Set in a New York soup kitchen run by a nun and a motley kitchen crew, this play unravels the intricacies of need, the vagaries of compassion, and limits of forgiveness with humor and empathy.

FREE WEEKEND WALKS

Through November – Tours are tailored for an adult audience, and the topic changes monthly. See the calendar below for details. Tour groups gather in front of the Graham Visitors Center.

SISTER ACT

Through June 4 – A woman hiding in a convent helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she discovers her own. Sister Act is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film that has audiences jumping to their feet.

SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Through June 11 – More than 400 films from 80 countries. 25 days. 155,000 attendees. Be part of the largest and most highly-attended film festival in the United States, now in its 43rd year.

MATINEE CABARET
Through SUN – A brand new, family friendly extravaganza from the creative team at Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret. This show combines history with high-kicks, culinary delicacies with world-class cabaret, providing a tour of the historic Pike Place Market.

MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday
– Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
All Month
– at the Pacific Science Center. Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT

All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

SCAVENGER HUNT ADVENTURE
All Month
– Enjoy this interactive scavenger hunt that takes you on a journey to see the best sights in the city while feeling like you are on the Amazing Race.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
All Month
– at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center. Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, allows parents and children to dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.

SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Through June 12th  Various locations. SIFF has been bringing great film experiences to the Northwest for more than 40 years. Our mission is to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world.

SHRIMPFEST

SAT-SUN  Shrimpfest lures hungry shrimpers from all over the Northwest to fish Hood Canal’s rich waters. Also features craft booths, food booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, kids activities and much more. Brinnon.

NORTHWEST FOLKLIFE FESTIVAL

FRI-MON  Seattle Center. Enjoy musical performances and workshops from around the world.

VOCALPOINT SEATTLE

Through SUN May 29th  Broadway Performance Hall. Featuring the great vocal music from the Big Band Era!

GIG HARBOR STREET SCRAMBLE

SAT  Skansie Brothers Park. A scavenger hunt full of riddles for families, teens, friends, runners, cyclists, walking enthusiasts—anyone who loves Gig Harbor and likes to explore.

CRUZIN’ TO COLBY

SAT-MON  Everett. Listen to live music and cruise down Colby Avenue. Enjoy a dance on Monday with a car show on Monday.

TRY-ATHLON

MON  Seattle University. Designed to be less strenuous than traditional triathlons, Trying 4 Troops focuses on participants “trying” a triathlon instead of completing each interval in an intense, competitive environment.

TANKFEST NORTHWEST

MON  Paine Field, Everett. Bring the family out to enjoy tanks, military vehicles and artillery weapons at this festive annual event, which includes driving and firing demonstrations of tanks and artillery. There will also be a Puget Sound Military Vehicle Collectors Club parade.

TO SAVOR TOMORROW

Through JUNE 11  A comedic play with Russian spies, vintage airliners, sexy stewardesses, and dashing agents. Drink 60s style cocktails and eat a delicious four-course meal while watching.

THE MYSTERY OF LOVE AND SEX

Through JUNE 26  A coming-of-age story that challenges the loving heart of a modern family as childhood friends start a romance when they go off to college.

FREE SUMMER CONCERTS AT THE LOCKS

Through SEPT 17  What’s better than free music in a great setting? Limited folding chairs available, plenty of room for blankets to sit on or to set up your own chairs.

CULINARY CINEMA

Through JUNE 12  Various Locations. Part of Seattle’s International Film Festival, Culinary Cinema includes ten full length films about cooking & food.

BASKETBALL GAME

THURS & SAT  Watch the women of Seattle Storm play a game in KeyArena.

THE WIZ

Through June 12th  Tacoma Musical Playhouse: Dorothy, the Scarecrow, a witch named Evillene, and the Wiz will light up the stage in this uproarious, song-filled adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.

MAGNIFIQUE

Thursdays through DEC 29  Julia’s on Broadway: Seattle’s premier burlesque performers with some of our gorgeous “ladies” from Le Faux.

THURSDAYS through June 30th  Julia’s on Broadway. From the producers of Le Faux, Seattle’s longest-running celebrity impersonation show, and Julia’s Queen of the Brunch, a fabulous, fun-filled disco drag extravaganza, comes their newest production: Magnifique. 

DINNER & SHOW
Through June 12th  Teatro ZinZanni: Part circus, part cabaret, & always magical, this three-hour whirlwind of international cirque, comedy and cabaret artists all served up with a scrumptious multi-course feast and elegant libations.
