UPSTREAM MUSIC FEST

THURS-SATUpstream Fest will transform the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood into a walkable mix tape, and will include a main stage at CenturyLink Field’s north lot. Over 25 intimate stages throughout the neighborhood will showcase a diverse group of over 300 emerging artists from around the region.

SEATTLE MARITIME FESTIVAL: FAMILY FUN DAY   

SATBoat parade, Coast Guard demonstrations, tours, kid activities and much more!

NORTHWEST PADDLING FESTIVAL

FRI-SAT – Featuring more than 60 paddle sports businesses offering canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, paddling equipment, accessories and gear, the Northwest Paddling Festival is a can’t-miss event for any paddling enthusiast.

BACKYARD WILDLIFE FESTIVAL

SAT – Celebrate wildlife, nature and gardening at the Annual Backyard Wildlife Festival! This event features presentations from local experts, along with a variety of educational exhibitors, arts & craft vendors, speakers and native plant sales. Don’t leave the kids at home, there is plenty to keep the entire family entertained and excited with the Kids Garden Party area.

REPTILE SHOW

SAT – Looking for a quality reptile as a new pet or are just looking for something fun and unique to do? Shows are fun for all ages, young and old.

THE PRODUCERS

Through May 21 – A Mel Brooks musical based around the character of Max Bialystock, a down and out Broadway producer whose latest work flopped on opening night.

SEATTLE BEER WEEK

Through SUNBars and breweries throughout the Seattle area host dozens of beer tasting and food pairing events.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Through May 21Four lovers cross spotlights with squabbling supernaturals and a bumbling rube, creating backstage comic chaos. The fairy Puck sorts it out before the act gets the hook, leaving us with a show stopper that brings down the house.

FIRE STATION 7

Through May 21 – This hilarious new musical comedy for all ages seamlessly integrates the seven rules of fire safety in a rock n’ roll performance, and is both educational and entertaining.

MATINEE CABARET
Through May 28 – A brand new, family friendly extravaganza from the creative team at Can Can Kitchen & Cabaret. This show combines history with high-kicks, culinary delicacies with world-class cabaret, providing a tour of the historic Pike Place Market.

MONA LISA HEIST
All Month – 165th Ave, Redmond: Take part in the most famous heist of the 20th century! An amazing adventure in the Louvre. Go through the security room, deactivating clever alarms and security systems. Get to the exhibit hall filled with ancient artifacts and paintings. Finally, steal the main exhibit piece, The Mona Lisa! Can you complete this mission in less than 60 minutes?

WINE & CHOCOLATE PAIRING
Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday
– Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar: This fun, casual and educational experience will help novice wine drinkers develop a new appreciation for different wines while more experienced wine drinkers can get a “grape” experience as well.

LASER LIGHT SHOWS
All Month
– at the Pacific Science Center. Experience the largest and longest operating domed laser theater in the world.

SEATTLE SMASH PUTT

All Month (FRI-SUN) – Putt-putt like you’ve never played it, going out with a bang in a funky new pop-up space in Downtown Seattle. Experience brand new crazy contraptions presented with a collection of your favorites from our nostalgic past! Pacific Science Center.

SCAVENGER HUNT ADVENTURE
All Month
– Enjoy this interactive scavenger hunt that takes you on a journey to see the best sights in the city while feeling like you are on the Amazing Race.

TOURS & ACTIVITIES
All Month
– at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center. Through engaging and thought-provoking exhibits, allows parents and children to dive into some of the world’s toughest challenges and learn how to act on their own ideas and solutions. Families can expect hands-on exhibits and spaces to create, explore, and discuss.

Through May 15th  Cornish College of the Arts. Graduating seniors showcase their work at Expo 16: Art & Design BFA Exhibition.

Through May 22nd  SecondStory Repertory, Redmond. Newlyweds Paul and Corie are just starting their life together in a tiny fifth-floor Manhattan apartment. He’s a straight-laced lawyer and she’s a free spirit who’s always looking for the latest adventure.  
 
THE CAT IN THE HAT

Through May 22nd  Seattle Children’s Theatre. Back by popular demand, our favorite Dr. Seuss character introduces his eclectic entertainment with mischievous humor and madcap style.

BURLESQUE VARIETY SHOW

THURSDAYS through June 30th  Julia’s on Broadway. From the producers of Le Faux, Seattle’s longest-running celebrity impersonation show, and Julia’s Queen of the Brunch, a fabulous, fun-filled disco drag extravaganza, comes their newest production: Magnifique.
